সদরঘাট সমাচার (SADARGHAT STORY)

It was 2 days before the Eid ul Fitr (The biggest muslim festival). I went to the main waterway terminal of Bangladesh named Sadarghat located in Dhaka. TTL (Through the Lens  Bangladesh) arranged a photowalk on Sadarghat and I joined as a part of that. The day was like a hell. The sun was like raising hell that day. The heat was tremendous and the crowd was too much to handle. It was very difficult to even stand in one place for 1 min coz of the crowd and the heat. Yet we move on with our mission to photograph the people leaving the city to spend their Eid with their dearest one.

Awaiting to go home.

The overwhelming crowd

Selling fruits on a boat.

His eyes says he really want to go home.

The prayer on the deck.

Biscuit seller sleeping on the boat underneath a launch.

The first class passengers.

Leaving.

The sellers.

The alley between two Launches.

Awaiting to go home.

A faimly awaiting to go home.

The seller

The endless crowd.
